Get involved
We are changing and we need volunteers to assist us both prior to and during Royston Arts Festival. If you live in or around Royston there are many ways you can help depending on the time you have available.
We can offer you:
the opportunity to be part of dynamic multi-disciplinary arts event
the chance to gain events management experience
the opportunity to expand your CV
the chance to put something back into the place where you live
Can you spare an hour or two over the festival weekend (23-26 September) to help the committee staff the events or help with organisation? No experience needed. Please email Lesley (our Volunteer co-ordinator) or phone her on 01763 249240 . Royston Arts Festival depends on the help of volunteers to run smoothly and any time you can give is greatly appreciated.
Festival Assistants/Gophers
Opportunities in the weeks running up to the festival include distribution of publicity materials, helping out at pre-festival events like the Kite Festival and working with us to prepare sites and venues.
During the Festival we require people to staff performance events and help out at workshops. We also need drivers who can give a morning or afternoon of their time to ensure equipment is in the right place at the right time.
