Bellringers open Royston Arts Festival with a celebratory 1/4 peal. Visitors are welcome to watch from inside the church. No access to the ringers' gallery during the peal.

Comedy Night - Jude Simpson & Sarah Harrison
Time: 7.30 pm
Price: Tickets £5 (available in advance from the Stationery Cupboard, Royston High Street Tel:.01763 249997 or take your chance on the door).
Stand-up poet Jude Simpson performs her unique blend of observational comedy, witty wordplay, poetry rap and song.
Sarah Harrison performs An Uncertain Age. Joyce Grenfell meets Jo Brand in the novelist's celebration of the 'early afternoon' of life as it affects women and, by association, men. Words, music, laughs and a free Festival cocktail.
