Come and see the work produced in Saturday's portrait workshop. Also an opportunity to see the latest pieces by local sculptor Paul Bainbridge.

Royston Arts Festival asked award-winning writer and illustrator James Mayhew to work with local schoolchildren. See the results (presented by Royston Arts Society) and much more. This event is supported by Royston Extended Schools.
 
Royston Arts Society Annual Exhibition
Time: 10am - 5pm
Price: Free (programme £1) 
Over 350 exhibits in all media including pictures for sale. There will be the opportunity to vote in the Johnson Matthey Best Picture Award. Refreshments available.
 
Open Studios 
Time: 10am - 6pm
Venue: Burloes Farm (1 mile from Royston on the B1039 Barkway/Barley road)
Price: Free
 
Part of Hertfordshire Open Studios. Art in various media.
  
Pizza & Pasta Art 
Time: 12noon - 4pm
Venue: Palazzo
Price: £1.50 minimum donation to Royston Arts Festival.
  
Create your own pizza, or pasta bracelet. Eat in or take away. All ages (children must be accompanied by an adult).

Price: LIMITED PLACES. Tickets in advance £2 from the Stationery Cupboard.
 
Royston's history brought to life on this one-and-a-half mile walk around the town with local historian F. John Smith. Starts at the Parish Church.

Shakespeare & Co
Due to bad weather this will take place in the Parish Church 
 
Time: 3pm-4.30pm
Price: Free (If wet, this event will be held in the Parish Church).
 
Ex-National Theatre staff director Robin Belfield returns with his Yellowtale Theatre Company. Enjoy the best bits of the Bard and his contemporaries from Juliet's balcony to the Forest of Arden.
 
 
 
Festival Finale concert

Time: 7pm
Price: Tickets £5 from the Stationery Cupboard, High Street, Royston or take your chance on the door.
 
Join students from local schools and the Stevenage Wind Band in this Last Night of the Proms-style finale. Bring your own flags.
